Yanmar was founded in Osaka in 1912. Yanmar Construction Equipment Europe was founded in 2010 and Yanmar Compact Germany was integrated in 2016.
Yanmar Construction Equipment Europe builds and sells construction equipment for the building, civil engineering and landscaping industries at its two plants in Saint-Dizier, France, and Crailsheim, Germany.
As a specialist in compact equipment, Yanmar offers a complete range of machines, including conventional mini excavators and zero tail swing excavators, tracked transporters, mini-tippers, skid-steer loaders, wheel loaders, light poles and accessories.
Yanmar is the inventor of the ViO (Zero Tail Excavator) concept.
Yanmar builds on a network of over 170 dealers throughout Europe.
