Schaeff is a brand name under which wheel loaders, backhoe loaders and also mini excavators are still sold today. The name goes back to a company for the production of construction machinery, which was named after its founder. Schaeff was founded in 1937 and began developing and producing construction machinery in 1947. Shortly after the turn of the millennium Terex Germany took over the company, then it changed to Kaelble and meanwhile the brand was taken over by YANMAR.
